Dalgona Coffee

Dalgona coffee is a light, frothy version of coffee that you can top your sweet milk with. It is so flavourful and robust that it awakens your taste buds.

I cannot count how many times I made this coffee in the last few weeks with different variations I think could make it better. We are talking about 7-8 batches of dalgona! But finally, there it was. The perfect recipe for Dalgona. I know you must be thinking, what is she going to do different?
watch.

I even made a few tweaks to the recipe to make it more interesting and yummy!

(Ignore my frothy finger😄)
Ingredients:
for 2 servings:

3 teaspoon of instant coffee
4 teaspoonful sugar
3 teaspoon hot water

Instructions:
1. Assemble the coffee powder, sugar and hot water in a bowl.
2. Using a beater, beat the mixture for about 5-6 minutes or until you see the volume increases and the coffee lightening in colour. If you don't have a beater, you can use a whisk too. It might take a little for time, but totally doable and won't hurt your hand too much.
3. When the froth becomes almost caramel-like in colour, that is your indication of doneness.
4. Pour over a glass of cold/hot milk(add a little sugar because the froth is strong)
5. Enjoy!

Note: if you want a little off-beat variation of it, after the froth is ready, add a teaspoon of cocoa powder. Gives a good kick and there you got your Dalgona Macchiato!

Quick and Easy Soya Manchurian

Soya Manchurian is an Indo-Chinese recipe which is quirky and to be honest, new for me. I hadn't really heard of soya manchurian until my mother told me about it. The only manchurian I have heard about is Gobi manchurian. At first, I was a little sceptical about it because I had never had deep fried soya chunks before. I thought they would take on a rubbery texture and not taste good. But I was surprised when it was still soft and fluffy on the inside while being crispy on the outside. you know what? You could stop right after frying them and even enjoy them as soya nuggets. But go ahead and give the manchurian a chance to shine too, it won't let you down I am sure.   The soya chunks become a little soggy after about 20 minutes, so you have to be quick while making the sauce/gravy. It is a pretty dry dish so I would classify this as a starter rather than a main. Side story: I thought it wouldn't be dry and I could serve it with roti, turned out I couldn't even ...

This recipe is only for the chocolate cake along with the frosting. But if you don't have much time or don't want that extra sugary layer, then just skip it. The cake doesn't need anything to awe you. Because this isn't just any other recipe and the best chocolate cake ever, be ready ...
